Jaeger #29 – Psi Force Training Part 4

Styner sics Brian and Sophie onto Marc and Sandy, and confronts Cassidy himself. A fierce psionic battle ensues, trashing half the lab and setting several dangerous chemicals on fire. Marc remembers his ability to project his anti-psionic ability outwards and lets fly with a deafening psionic scream, disrupting everyone. The Hunter launches himself at Styner, who proceeds to shoot him in the head, blowing half his brains out. However for Marc this is only a minor inconvenience, and he attacks Styner, draining him to death. Then he manages to rouse Sandy, Brian and Sophie and together, they haul the unconscious Cassidy up to the surface. Behind them the research centre goes up in flames. At the top they are met by General Hartmann, commander of PsiForce. He commends them for their efforts, then arranges for Cassidy to be taken to hospital. Later the general meets with the Vice President to discuss the future of the ruined psitropine harvest.
