Mission #1 - The Psychotic Psyborg

Marheg, a mercenary commander who is struggling to control the rundown and overcrowded suburb of Old Bankstown, is wondering why derro attacks on civilians are increasing. These quiet, shadowy, characters never used to harass ordinary people. The crime-boss steps up patrols around the local area in an attempt to find out what's going on. Youngsters Pooley and Shell head for the old library, where they discover the gruesome truth. The derros are cannibals. Unfortunately, the pair soon find themselves surrounded by the psychotics, and a savage gunfight ensues. The young soldiers believe they're about to die when a strange creature comes to their rescue, blowing all the derros away with various interesting weapons. Enter Mission, a seven-foot cyborg who needs a place to stay. In return for saving Pooley and Shell, Marheg agrees to let Mission join his crew. Back at the old library, a strange man in black appears, takes stock of the situation, then reports to a man named Carulo that the derros will make excellent shock troops.
